Yes! You do not need to buy our containers. While FoodTusker trackers seamlessly fit onto our own containers each FoodTusker tracker comes with a silicon strap that can stretch to accommodate many different container sizes. It's also designed to attach to tin foil or plastic wrapped food.

The FoodTusker tracker uses an e-ink screen that only uses power when it updates. The tracker goes into deep sleep mode waking up periodically to take temperature measurements and when it senses motion. As a result, the device can last over two months on a single charge.

We rely on data curated by FoodSafety.gov, which is managed by the US Department of Health and Human Services.  FoodSafety.gov works with the FDA, FSIS, and CDC for data to ensure food safety.
